Woohoo!
The mole has been snatched out of its hole and banished forever!
I haven’t had a shave with a razor for over a yeah now because of a small but pesky mole on my chin that has been the bane of my shaving for years.
Every time without fail it bleeds and stings when I shave. I’ve been using an electric shaver and quite like the stubble but every now and then I want a nice smooth face.
So the doctor pumped that pesky little critter with anaesthetic and sliced that bad boy off. The only slightly weird thing about the procedure was the smell of my own burning skin when he cauterised it. Now my mouth is quite numb. I just dried eating a sandwich but gave up because I couldn’t feel where my lips were at!
Since I didn’t have anything much to blog about today I thought I’d share my happiness with you! Today is Mole-B-Gone day! Yay!
Congrats my friend! Burnt skin does smell awful doesn’t it. They carterized my forehead when they took out the basal cell. Disgusting! 🙂 Have a great day!
Very strange smell, I’m just glad there was a glaring light in my eyes so I couldn’t see the wisps of smoke!
hee hee. oh it’s the little things in life, or their removal, that brings us joy!!!
I will be most happy when I can shave again! Little things are worth the wait!
Ouch! sounds like a stiff drink is the order of the day. No more shaving nightmares…
I have a mole on my back and am just plucking up courage to go and see the doctor 😦
Totally worth it, the only minor bit of pain was the injection, and it sort of numbed itself in about 2 seconds anyway. Really odd sensation.
I take it you’ll be smooth a lot more often then, yes? I like to have choices; do something because I WANT to, not because I HAVE to 🙂
I quite like the stubble look, people say it suits me but I do want a nice clean shave now and then, well, maybe not all the time, but it feels much nicer in the summer, though I do like the half stubble half beard in the winter!
