Stagecoach Cambridge have proven themselves to be lacking in every department where customer service is concerned. I’m pretty sure I’ve been in a bad mood recently and will snap out of it sooner or later, but whilst I’m here I may as well have fun with it!
I’ve recently added a nice new section to my blog; 10 Things… which not only piss me off but could be what I love about something. So it’s not all doom and gloom, well, it is right now but I’m sure it will pick up soon. And since my bad mood is lingering somewhat I started with the ...That Piss Me Off About… and I’m really happy to get a real nasty issue off my chest; the 10 Things That Piss Me Off About Busses – directed at Stagecoach Cambridge Bus Company. I’ve been brooding about that subject for a while now and have come to the conclusion that there are more negative things than positive where busses are concerned. Yes there are. Please don’t shake your head. And for the love of Jeebus, please don’t email me with a list of positive reasons to take the bus. Don’t be that person.
Busses are driving me slowly mental!
I’ve been using busses regularly for about 15 years or more. Yet in the last year I’ve become less tolerant of them, and have now arrived at a point where I actually despise them! Maybe it’s because I’m a stage in my life where compromise isn’t an option any more, and after giving in so many times in the past I just want something to go the way I want, and not because I don’t have a choice, or am too laid back.
Here is a little excerpt from the page:
It’s story time!
After recent changes to the bus time-table, I was left standing in the snow for 2 hours waiting for a bus. When it did come the driver apologised and said I’d have to wait another 25 mins as he had a different route to take first then swings back to the town, changes route number and I could hop on. But when he found out I had a Week Pass he said to get on out of the cold. I could travel the route, keep warm, no harm done.
Very nice man you might say. The caring type.
Not so the next evening. Different driver. I got on, showed my obvious big Week Pass to him and sat down. We went round the route and outside Tesco he sticks his head around the door and tells me to get off! He was terminating there and it wasn’t fair I rode the bus like that. He went on and on about me abusing the system and I can’t just ride around like that. I argued my case calmly, stating I had a Week Pass and there was no mention on the timetable about it terminating outside Tesco.
